Product engineering studio — available for Q4

We design and build web and mobile products that earn their place.

Unloops takes an idea from first sketch to a shipped, maintainable product. One small senior team, doing the strategy, the design and the engineering.

What we do

From first idea
to final product.

Most studios hand you off — strategy to design, design to engineering, engineering to nobody. We stay on the product the whole way through, which is the only reason any of it holds together.

Product strategy

We find the real problem behind the brief, then decide what's worth building first — and what isn't worth building at all.

Scope · Roadmap

UI/UX design

Interfaces with a point of view. Clear hierarchy, honest copy, and a system your team can extend without us.

Systems · Prototypes

Web development

Fast, accessible web applications built on React and Next.js, with the kind of architecture that survives its second year.

React · Next.js

Mobile development

Production iOS and Android apps in Flutter and React Native, shipped through real CI/CD instead of someone's laptop.

Flutter · RN

Product engineering

APIs, data models, integrations and the unglamorous parts. Complex requirements turned into software that behaves.

Node · Postgres

Product evolution

Inheriting something that already exists. We stabilise it, measure it, and get it moving again.

Audit · Rescue

The approach

Don't stay
in the loop.

Software gets stuck in cycles: the same sprint, the same rewrite, the same feature nobody asked for. Our job is to get a product out of that cycle and moving in a direction. Four stages, and the last one never ends.

01

Understand

We dig past the requirement to the problem underneath it. Usually it's smaller than it looked, and pointed somewhere else.

02

Shape

Complexity becomes a clear product experience — flows, screens, edge cases and the parts we deliberately leave out.

03

Build

Engineered for the real world: slow networks, old devices, app review, and the person using it at 6am.

04

Unloop

We ship, watch what actually happens, and keep improving. This is where a product either compounds or quietly dies.

Technology

Built for
the real world.

We pick tools we can still defend in three years. Boring where it counts, modern where it pays off.

One codebase across iOS and Android when it makes sense. Native when it doesn't. We'll tell you which one you're looking at before we start, not after.

Every project ships with CI/CD, crash reporting and release automation from week one — because the second release is the one that hurts.

About Unloops

We're here to build
what comes next.

Unloops is a small product engineering studio. We started it after years of shipping apps for other people's companies — some used by millions, some that never should have been built — and noticing the same pattern every time. The products that worked had short chains of decision-making. The ones that didn't had long ones.

So we kept the team small on purpose. The people you meet are the people who design your product and write its code. There's no account layer, no resourcing spreadsheet, no junior team quietly assigned to you after the contract is signed.

We work with founders raising their first round, product teams inside established companies, and the occasional client who just needs something rescued.

Why Unloops

Small team.
Serious products.

What it's actually like to work with us, minus the parts that would be true of anyone.

/01

Senior engineers only

Eight-plus years each, in production. Nobody learns your codebase on your budget.

/02

We push back

If a requirement doesn't serve the product, you'll hear about it in week one rather than at launch.

/03

Design and code, same room

No handoff, no spec ping-pong. Designs get built by people who helped shape them.

/04

You talk to the builders

Direct access to the team, in your Slack, on your timezone overlap. No relay.

/05

Modern, boring technology

Chosen for the next five years, not the next demo. We optimise for the person who maintains it.

/06

We stay past launch

A shipped product is the start of the work. We're around for version two, and usually version five.
